The article gives some good background information on where a lot of the top job sites get their salary information from. America Online, Yahoo, HotJobs.com and Monster.com get their info from Salary.com and CareerBuilder.com, Jobster.com and SimplyHired.com, get their info from PayScale.com.
Dirk Watkins was born in Door County. He studied computer science and art at Carroll College in Waukesha, Wisconsin. Dirk now works as a web application developer in Milwaukee programming mostly in c#, javascript, sql queries and the occasional actionscript.
