Take Solace at John Harbors, April 14th 2007

On Saturday, April 14th 2007 Take Solace will be at John Harbor’s Main Street Coffee House in Menomonee Falls. We’ll play around 7PM or so. You can come and get a nice sandwich and drink some excellent coffee while you watch us play. They have beer and wine too. We’re planning on bringing little take home gifts for those that make it.

It’s near the corner of Appleton and Main Street in Menomonee Falls. It’s on a corner a half block East of Appleton Ave on Main Street (right across from that bank).

Dirk Watkins was born in Door County. He studied computer science and art at Carroll College in Waukesha, Wisconsin. Dirk now works as a web application developer in Milwaukee programming mostly in c#, javascript, sql queries and the occasional actionscript. For design he likes to utilize as much css (positioning and styles) as possible. Dirk uses Dreamweaver, Visual Studio 2005, Flash and Photoshop daily and lots of other random programs frequently. In his spare time Dirk plays guitar, reads, listens to NPR, works on his house, and sleeps on quiet beaches.

    We’ll be playing with The Monday Saga too. They are starting around 7:30 PM and will probably play for an hour or so. Then we’re on!
